美國大片《亞歷山大》剛剛上映就引來不少批評，更被一些影評家貶為“一次高貴的失敗”和“最平淡的史詩”。此外，影片將曾征服歐亞大陸的亞歷山大大帝描繪成了一個雙性戀者，引起了一些希臘人的強烈不滿。為了給他們心目中的民族英雄“討回公道”，25個希臘律師決定將聯(lián)名起訴制作方華納兄弟公司，并將該片導演奧利佛·斯通一并告上法庭。外電報道如下：While critics savaged Oliver Stone's long-waited epic "Alexander," novelist and social activist Gore Vidal rallied to the $160 million movie's defense saying it was "barrier-breaking" because of its frank depiction of bisexuality.
Stone's film opened on Wednesday to near universal pans from critics who called it everything from a "noble failure" to an "indifferent epic."
The Charlotte, North Carolina, Observer said the movie was "an act of hubris so huge, that, in Alexander's time, it would draw lightning bolts from contemptuous gods."
